Printmaking, Bookbinding and Embossing Courses
These courses are one-day introductory sessions to Linocut Printmaking, Drypoint Printmaking, Bookbinding and Embossing.
Linocut Course
On the linocut course you will learn how to turn drawings or photographs into stunning and dramatic images in black and white, or using 2 colours (click on images to view samples).
Bookbinding
The bookbinding day will show you how to make your own notebooks or sketchbooks using the japanese stab binding method (click on images to view samples).
Embossing
On the embossing course I will show you how to create beautiful embossed paper effects to use in the making of greeting cards, stationery or for framing.
Drypoint Printmaking
The drypoint printmaking takes you through a dry etching process of producing prints from an aluminium plate (click on images to view samples).

The one-day introductory sessions in Linocut Printmaking, Drypoint Printmaking, Bookbinding and Embossing are available for groups for corporate team building.The courses run from 10.00-4.00 on alternate Saturdays, and depending on numbers I can accommodate 2 disciplines on the same day - so don't be put off if the dates above don't suit you. Please get in touch and we may be able to make arrangements.
The course fee is £40* for the day, including basic materials and use of equipment, plus tea and coffee. You will need to make your own arrangements for lunch, but are welcome to have a packed lunch here with me.
For a small extra charge you can purchase a voucher with one of my own handmade cards to give as a gift.
