I'm Jan Martin - digital artist and freelance illustrator based in Bristol. My work falls into two general categories: digital collage, and a mixed-media collage which has a slightly different edge. The common element is cut and paste and, as with all art of this sort, it has the capacity to create a bizarre, sometimes surreal world of unexpected juxtapositions and perspectives that can surprise, disturb and illuminate. For editorial, advertising, publishing, and the web, it can provide a much-needed element of ambiguity and surprise.

I work in Photoshop and have experience in Dreamweaver, Flash, Coreldraw.
